This in-service training is designed to enable participants to initiate and maintain catchment based clinical mentoring and coaching for health care providers in order to maintain the quality of care provided at all levels in a standard fashion. Mentoring and coaching are a challenging task that requires flexibility, skill in coordinating disparate stakeholders, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to cope With the rapid change of direction, in addition to up-to-date clinical knowledge and teaching skills. This training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skill of effective clinical mentoring and coaching.
