dc.description	My primary motivation for putting some crucial issues related to chemical measurements in the form of a comprehensive textbook was my involvement in training courses related to those topics, in addition to the fact that I was actively involved in accreditation activities around Europe. The original idea for this book came about during my active involvement in the TrainMiC® project, which is related to knowledge dissemination on good practice in obtaining valid results in chemical measurements, financed by EU funds.	en
