Description: This book presents a detailed study on a new class of branched polymers, hyperbranched polymers. The synthesis strategies of these special classes of polymers are discussed elaborately. Polymers have become a basic ecessity in human life due to its wide range of properties. The conventional polymers have three basic structural alteration—linear, branched, and fully crosslinked form. Each of the forms has respective application area with its individual merits and demerits. Later polymer scientists tried to explore more with the properties of the polymers by altering its shape and structure. In order to develop different kinds of architectural olymers, dendrimers came into existence.
