Title: Agency and Media Reception
Authors: Eichner, Susanne
Keywords: Media Reception
Issue Date: 2014
Publisher: Springer
Description: This work is not about the agency we perform in the ‘real’ world, nor about the agency of fictional characters in fictional worlds. Media use is considered a specific form of social action and communication. Media addresses an audience with symbolic material. Media reception is a process of meaning making through interaction with the symbolic material presented
