The book focuses in particular on the major issues and principles involved in evidence-based strategy making rather than on the technical details, which are the subject of numerous evaluation manuals. It can therefore be used either alone, as an introduction to the issues and principles, or in conjunction with evaluation manuals, in order to go deeper in understanding the purposes and approaches behind evaluation and evidencebased strategy making.-
