The aim, it states, is to reduce greenhouse gases by 80%, by year 2050.5 It is not clear whether the report allayed the anxieties of the attendees or not, but the plan is unambiguous. That is, the United States will fully cooperate with other countries to ultimately aim (within the century) for zero greenhouse gas emissions.
